Items to Bring: Weather appropriate clothes, gloves, positive attitude.
Event Description: Come out and help your community by setting up American Flags between the Washington Square and Glendale Cemetery in honor of our Veterans. Also, earn service hours for your next rank advancement. We need 4 to 5 scouts with 2 adults per vehicle (truck preferred). The more help we have, the quicker we can get all the flags setup along the parade route.
We will met at the city building to load flags and stands into vehicles. Depending on the number of volunteers, we will split and head to different locations in the city to put up the flags. Parents that are not also volunteering (please help set a good example for your scout and consider also helping!) will be instructed when and where to pick up their scout either at drop-off time or called later by their scout once that information is known.
