Event Description:

As most of you are aware, we are back to Ingersoll Scout Reservation this summer. (This camp is through our home council and we attend it every other year). The following link will take you to the ISR Summer Camp home page: http://isrsummercamp.org/camp2020/

Come join the great Summer Camp experience! There are lots of cool changes at ISR this year. Work on Merit Badges, attend Brown Sea Island (Tenderfoot to 1st class requirements), have fun during free time and campout with the Troop at Ingersoll Scout Reservation, with over 900 acres of land just for the Boy Scouts of America!

FEES

Camp's Early Bird deadline is April 24, but turn your full early bird payment into our Troop treasurer on or before Monday, April 6.

PROGRAM SELECTION

Select the Activities and Merit Badges that you want to work on from the Summer Camp Leaders Guide Pages 26 - 28. (Pay close attention to page 28 which lists all Merit Badges with prerequisites that need to be completed before camp) 1st year scouts should consider signing-up for Brown Sea Island Program to work on Tenderfoot to 1st Class rank requirements. Follow these steps below:

    • Print pages 26 and 27

    • Put your name on the top of the page

    • Circle two Merit Badges/Activities you would like to attend for each morning and afternoon session and label them with a #1 and #2 for your first and second choice

    • If you would like to sign up for evening programs, be sure to circle those on page 27 (Not required)

    • Review this information with Mrs. Borlin on or before 4/6

    • Reminder to check page 28 and start working on the prerequisites for the Merit Badges you selected

PARENTS & ADULT LEADERS - We need your help to run Summer Camp! Please sign up and reach out to Kerri if you are available - even if it is just for a few days at camp!
