Event Description:

This outing is a great outdoor event for the Boy Scouts, we will be hosting new AOL Scouts and teaching them about the Troop and being a Boy Scout!

Help teach the Webelos how to set up the Troop gear, cook a meal, and other skills that will help them in Boy Scouts. Troop 163 Scouts should arrive at 5:00 PM on Friday 10/4 at the church.

AOL scouts can go right to the Morton Opportunity club to arrive at 6:00 PM - don't be early as you might beat us there! Arrow of Light Scouts: Sign up below to come out and join us (if camping overnight) Friday 10/4 at 6:00 PM, or (if not camping overnight) 9:00 AM Saturday 10/5 and have fun with Troop 163! Learn how Boy Scouts differ from Cub Scouts, learn about troop gear, play games, and have fun! While scouts are learning, the parents can talk to adult leaders about how things are different in Boy Scouts and how to get involved. For those camping overnight, breakfast will be provided. Lunch will be provided for all. Parent must camp with their AOL Scout. So come out, get some requirements done, and have some fun. The event will conclude by 4:00 PM Saturday 10/5 for AOL Scouts.

Troop 163 Scouts will head back to the church for trailer unload around 5:00/5:30. Here is a packing list that will help you. It includes gear for all weather, so you don't have to bring everything on it!
