The council needs help next Friday, September 8th, from 4:45 to 9:00 p.m. in East Peoria with a big fundraiser for W.D. Boyce Council! They are looking for 15 scouts in uniform to come demonstrate the activities above and overall just have a fun time. We will also need some help greeting guest by handing out programs and then the color guard as well.
Scouts will rotate stations so everyone will have a chance to try all of the activities. This is an event with the council's donors and sponsors where we provide food and beverage as well as a program. However, it is important to show Scout presence since that is what the council is raising money for.
Pizza will be provided to scouts that help.
They will take the first 15 scouts from our entire district that respond (not just our troop), so please sign up quickly if you'd like to have fun and participate.
Registration closes Tuesday, September 5th at noon or as soon as they have the necessary number of scouts, whichever happens first.
