$20 per scout, ~$15 per adult. Cost includes all activities, meals, special patch, and for newly crossed-over scouts: a special Wokanda Warrior hat.
Early bird discount if registered and paid on or before 3/18.
Cost is FREE for parents/families only attending the crossover ceremony (not eating or camping).
Dress: Field uniform (Class A) for travel and ceremonies; Activity Uniform (Class B) for service

    Extra clothes (in case get wet and/or dirty)
Weather related items (sunscreen, rain gear, coat, etc.)
    Boy Scout handbook     Mess and chow kits (plate, bowl, drinking cup, utensils)

Event Description:  

This is a wonderful opportunity to have fun with other troops and packs from all over the Wotamalo District. While in our campsite, we will potentially be visited by cub scouts so we will talk with them, give them a tour of our camp site and show them our troop gear, and also play games and have a good time. We hope they'll join our troop someday!
You can choose to attend any of the following:

  • Intro to compass and orienteering includes earning Second Class requirements 3a, 3b, and 3d and includes a 5-mile hike. Starts and 9 and goes until hike is finished.
  • Knotball games go all day - come and go as you please - bring your scout book so you can get requirements signed off.
  • Some Merit Badges have prerequisites. More information to come.
All newly-crossed over scouts that just joined our troop are highly encouraged to attend this event. They will get a special Wokanda Warrior hat and there is a very special, very cool crossover ceremony to honor and celebrate them crossing over into Boy Scouts on Saturday night. Families are encouraged to come at watch the crossover ceremony at 7:30 PM at no cost. Parents/families that are not camping can enjoy a walking taco dinner Saturday at 5:30 PM with their scout for a $5 per person. Please make sure to fill out the appropriate attendance counts in the form below so we can plan for the proper number of visitors and diners.
The early bird discount expires on 3/18. Cost per scout goes up $2 and cost per adult goes up $5.
Be sure to register online below and make all payment arrangements with our troop treasurer, Mr. Hayes, or with Scoutmaster Olsen, if you do not have enough in your scout account.
Please also bring this waiver filled out (required by Peoria Park District) with you to the 3/18 troop meeting and turn it in to Scoutmaster Olsen.
