Event Description:  The troop has a wonderful collection of firewood by the shed, but the logs are too big to be useful for campouts and need to be split into smaller pieces and stacked in a new wood pile behind the shed. We will be using one or more log splitting machines to do the hard work, but we need lots of help bringing the logs to the splitters and then taking the split wood and properly stacking it in the new storage area. A couple of wheelbarrows and the troop wagon will be available to make the job of moving the wood easier.

After the work is done, all of our helpers are invited to stay afterward and enjoy some lemonade, pizza, s'mores, and maybe some flag retirements.

We are looking for a minimum of 10 scouts, parents, and other adults to help up.

Please come out and help the troop split and re-stack our firewood so your next campout might be able to enjoy a nice campfire!
