Event Description:  
All newly elected scouts and those wanting to hold positions in the future are encouraged to attend this great training to kick-start their leadership experience and understand the troop structure. This training is required for all scouts who want to take a leadership role. All youth leaders should attend (SPL, ASPL, PL, APL, Troop Guides, etc.). This training will be held in the morning and should end around midday.
In addition to ILST, there will be a break out session mid-morning for Scout Rank Advancement Training. There are new requirements for scouts to sign off on rank advancement activities for other scouts. A Star rank or higher is required. All scouts First class and higher are encouraged to attend. The training is only a small part of this weekend and the rest of the time will be focused on advancement each scout would like to do as well as whatever (scouting appropriate) fun, games, activities the scouts plan. We will camp in tents, but the training will be in a cabin with a full kitchen and flush toilets. We will also perform a small service project Saturday afternoon. Class A uniforms are required for travel, training, and flag ceremonies. Class B may be worn during all other activities. Come out and have fun while improving you communication, planning, and leadership skills.
