Event Description:
We are excited to be participating in the 2019 W.D. Boyce Council Fall Camporee, called ‘Scouting Around the World’. Our troop will represent MEXICO and it is set to be an exciting weekend of activities. Here are some of the highlights:

Friday Night & Saturday Night:
Different groups will perform on Friday night - the featured band will be Brushville. Check out their website: .www.brushville.com. On Saturday night there will be Fireworks!!!

Scouting Around The World - fun activities to participate in over the weekend:
We will select a Sovereign “leader” of Mexico and an Ambassador from our troop. In addition, we'll prepare lots of other things related to Mexico from country facts to games, passport stamp, flag, and a border. We will also get a chance to complete a 'Tour of Nations', which is when we'll visit the other troops and their countries. We will also participate in a Diplomacy game, the Highland Games, and the Jamboree on the Air (JOTA).

Challenger Learning Center - The Council has partnered with the Challenger Learning Center (on the HCC campus) to offer a limited number of simulations which will include a shuttle takeoff, tour of the solar system, and landing. There are only 270 seats available. The simulations will be offered on a first come, first-served basis - so register for this camp early if you want to do this.
